Welcome to Grand Rapids, MI, home to over 150 delta sorors. As you browse our site and read about the rich history of this chapter, you'll come to find that this dynamic membership of black educated women are a force to be reckoned with in the Grand Rapids Community. Through our tireless service and social action advocacy, we've been recognized by many. Though recognition is not what fuels us. What fuels us, is the ability to make a difference in the lives of the underserved men, women, and children that live in this community.
Along with the over 200,000 delta members, across the globe, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. for 93 years has and will continue to advocate for academic excellence, educate and stimulate participation in the establishment of positive public policy, provide programming that will help to strengthen the African Amercian Community, and much more. This extensive array of public service is all conducted under our sorority's five point programmtic thrust:
